Tress is made with composite materials that are technically similar to those used by Marc Sadler and Foscarini when they developed the Mite and Twiggy collections, but with a completely different application and results, that achieve new expressive possibilities for the material and the development of manufacturing techniques.

The whole DSLR world just got all that more competitive as Canon recently announced its latest members to the family, the EOS 500D/Rebel T1i (name dependent on where you live). The addition to the Rebel collection, the EOS 500D effectively cannibalizes Canon’s other crop sensor camera, the 50D (which I was bitching about on my twitter ha) as it incorporates the same 15.1 MP sensor with similar ISO ranges AS WELL as offering HD-recording. While not on par with the Canon 5D Mark II, the camera does shoot 720p @ 30 fps or 1080p @ a reduced 20 fps. The camera also enjoys a nice 920,000 pixels viewing screen. The estimated street price when it drops in May is approximately $799 USD (body-only) and $899 for the kit which includes the EF-S18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS zoom lens. The 500D now joins the 5D Mark II and Nikon D90 as the front-runners in the HD-capable DSLR segment.
Clean, simple and classic, CLAE’s approach to footwear design has attracted a wealth of attention since the brand’s re-emergence some season’s ago. A look into their second delivery for 2009 spring includes some nice tonal offerings with our favorites residing with the Romare Hi and the McQueen. For info on a stockist near you, head over to CLAE.com.
To further compliment the Air Jordan 1 Hare we saw yesterday, the Jordan camp previews a secondary colorway in a girl-friendly light brown and shy pink offering. Although the kicks seen yesterday are scheduled to release in adult sizes, this new unveiling will remain a childrens release in grade school sizes. Look for both to releases mid-April at Jordan accounts nationwide.

We get a look at the complete Gourmet Spring 2009 Epi Collection, using french made premium epi leather on the uppers. They present two high top sneakers and a low top sneaker in different colorways. We especially like the combination of the green upper and gum sole, as well as the low top black sneaker. Via FreshnGood.
BBC/Ice Cream once again presents a new sneaker style this season in their collection - the Suede Mid Top. It comes in a blue and a bright red colorway, suede uppers, rubber edge and tonal sole. We like the fact that they kept it simple and left any sort of graphics off of the upper.
The BBC/Ice Cream Suede Mid Tops are now available online.
