Inspired by Air Command Force and recently honored by Billy Hoyle Hyperize from White Men Can’t Jump pack, the classic basketball shoe, Jordan Flight 45 from Nike has been given a unique color-way of with a tumbled leather upper, blue and gray accents plus a neon yellow midsole with black speckles which ties in nicely with the ‘Command Forces’ most recognizable design element. Other niceties are the Velcro strap across the front and a super cushioned tongue with a rubberised tonal Jumpman logo!

The Air Jordan XII (12) is still regarded in many Jordan fanatics and sneakerhead’s eyes as one of the best signature Air Jordan shoes ever and it doesn’t get much more classic than this White and Varsity Red colorway that MJ wore during the 1996-97 NBA Season. Nike Air Yeezy X Air Jordan VI

During the design process for the Nike Air Yeezy, Mark Smith and the wizards in Nike’s Innovation Kitchen created a 1 of 1 Nike Air Yeezy sitting on Air Jordan VI tooling. The upper features the complete Nike Air Yeezy as designed by Kanye West and the Nike iK sitting on the midsole and outsole from the Air Jordan VI. The entire package comes in an “all Black everything” Blackout colorway with a smoked Black outsole. This 1 of 1 Nike Air Yeezy x Air Jordan VI Sample was vaulted at the time of it’s creation and has never been seen since. Kanye didn’t even get to see it.

Unlike many things that get created behind the doors of Nike’s Innovation Kitchen, these 1 of 1 Nike Air Yeezy x Air Jordan VI will be made available to the public through an auction in benefit of the OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. All of the proceeds from the winning bid will go to benefit the Doernbecher program. The auction should be taking place soon.

While the original and retro Air Jordan 4 (IV) in the iconic black/red colorway are mostly long gone (albeit seeing a retro via Countdown Pack), Jordan Brand brings back the classic colorway in Force form as we see a continuation of the Air Jordan Force hybrid. Keeping many of the originals iconic elements intact, the shoes include a visible Air unit through the midsole as well. Available now at select Air Jordan dealers including Millennium Shoes.

One of the most anticipated sneaker releases of the year got final confirmation these past couple of days. The Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam”, as worn by Michael Jordan in the 1996 movie, will be re-released on November 27th 2009.
