Gresso, the luxury mobile phone manufacturer, is all set to entice the rich Apple fanboys on New Year’s Eve with its newest creation – the iPad Gresso. This luxurious version of the iPad comes framed in 200-year-old African Blackwood, which is said to be the world’s most valuable tree. Moreover, the Apple logo on the back is made of 18K pure gold. There is no word on the pricing, but we are sure that it will be out of the budget for many of us.

Looks like it might come to market as the Thunderbolt, so says Droid Life -- and we tend to put some weight on the rumor considering that they've just run twelve leaked shots of the thing. As you can see, this is clearly Verizon's head-on answer to the EVO 4G, featuring similar stylings and, in all likelihood, an LTE modem swapped in for the EVO's WiMAX one. Harry Winston launches two beautiful chronographs in the Ocean Collection

Finally the year ends with a positive stoke in time. And by that I mean, Harry Winston has decided to bid adieu to the first decade of the millennium with two versions from their Ocean Collection. The first of these beautiful watches come encased in 18kt white or rose gold 44mm cases with a sapphire crystal. Featuring a Swiss automatic HW movement, the watch offers a 40-hour power reserve and 100-meter water resistance (it is the “Ocean” collection).

The second version features an aeronautical engineering twist thanks to the zirconium-aluminum based alloy Zalium polished 36mm casing with crystal sapphire and a 40-hour power reserve and 100-meter water resistance. Not only is it is hypo-allergenic, but also offers very high corrosive resistance. Moreover it is extremely lightweight and spots a gunmetal finish. Miami Holocaust Memorial

I remember days just sitting and staring at the statue for hours - It's funny how some things never change.

The Holocaust Memorial of Miami Beach is located at 1933-1945 Meridian Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33139 and is dedicated to the 6 Million Victims of the Holocaust. It was commissioned in 1985 and executed by Kenneth Treister, sculptor, who has described his intent as: "a large environmental sculpture...a series of outdoor spaces in which the visitor is led through a procession of visual, historical and emotional experiences with the hope that the totality of the visit will express, in some small way, the reality of the Holocaust." The dominant image is the large, 42 foot high bronze hand, The Sculpture of Love and Anguish," which includes an Auschwitz number on the forearm and 130 human figures cast in bronze in various forms of anguish.
