DC Admiral Sport for Hotel on Rivington - DOPE!

DC unveils their fourth collaborative shoe with NYC’s Hotel on Rivington. This time they worked on the new DC LIFE Admiral Sport in black leather.

The model has been customized with a laser etch of “HOTEL ON RIVINGTON” on the outsole, a design treatment that pays homage to the iconic side-wall bold DCSHOECOUSA lettering on the classic DC LYNX skate model that originally launched just over a decade ago now. The First release of the LYNX was in 1998 along with the announcement of Josh Kalis joining the team. A special red strap, a key color from the hotel, completes the custom shoe.

Supra Holiday 2009 Skytop Releases.

Supra has begun to roll out their Holiday 2009 lineup. “First up in the announcement queue are five new Skytop colorways: Black Grey Blue Leather, Red Black Patent Leather, and three new TUF variations: Grey Gunny, Black Gunny, and White Gunny.” The TUF series has been home to some of the best Supra’s out over the years, and these three new monochrome versions are no let down. Now available at Factory 413.

Y-3 X MOMO - Hayworth Mid II - Love em.

New York City-based MOMO is an artist of many trades– having just released his first book, 3AM-6AM, the man is now onto another release with Y-3. The two worked together on the Hayworth Mid II and the results are three pairs of simple yet colorful kicks with large bright color block graphics signature of MOMO’s work. The solid color blocks overlap one another at certain points, creating an interesting gradient shade that adds an edge to an otherwise strict color formation. These shoes will be on showcase starting Sep 2 at Isetan and will be released during the highly anticipated global Fashion’s Night Out organized by Vogue. They will be available for purchase for about $448 on Sep 10 at the Y-3 flagship in the ever-trendy Shinjuku.

Nike Sportswear - Dunk Hi AC TZ - Nice!

Since Nike Dunk was first released as a way to represent college basketball team colors, the shoes had taken off the courts and fused into people’s lives to become one of the most popular sneaker models, growing into a classic in itself. While the Nike Dunks are famed for its bold colors, creative use of materials and combinations of both to push stylistic limits of sneakers, the Nike Dunk Hi is heading in a new yet tried and true direction — simplicity.

The Dunk Hi AC TZ goes basic in a premium canvas upper matched up with crisp white vulcanized rubber soles. The fuss-free canvas upper comes in two colorways, black and grey, with the Swoosh and accent panels all done up in the same canvas material and upper for a subtle, clean look. Nike Air Jordan 1 “Oestrich” - DOPE!

The classic Nike Air Jordan 1 comes in a new premium version, featuring an all black upper made of nylon and oestrich leather. The nylon is very thick and almost looks like ballistic nylon and is well complemented with he oestrich leather, while keeping an overall subtle appearance. The sneaker will be officially released on July 7th, but is now available for order at RMK.

PF Flyers Color Reveal Center Hi - Lupe Chuck T knockoff?

Im still a little bent on why these are even alive, seeing as earlier last week I posted the custom Lupe F patent leather Chuck T's - Why these PF's surfaced still confuses me. Set to return to the PF Flyers roster of favorites under an all new design, the Center Hi was originally debuted back in 1953. For fall of 2009, the shoe takes on a different demeanor with a modern patent leather upper. However, the difference in the design comes down to a color changing black patent leather which will crease, contrast and mold to the wearer’s foot. Along the way, the upper will take on various different hues of colors. Two versions are available in black to red and black to white. The suggested retail price is set at $110 USD.

Standard ATL hits us with a look into their new collaboration alongside DC Shoes, utilizing the popular Admiral High model from the DC LIFE Collection.

After years of having their feet planted firmly in the Atlanta lifestyle market, Standard opened the doors to it’s second location in Lenox Square. To commemorate the expansion, Standard has partnered up American footwear giant DC Shoes for their first collaborative efforts. The goal in this collaboration was to represent design elements that have always been strongly present in the motif of Standard. The true red color embodies the strong presence of red accents at both locations along with the green laces and insole, which represent the artificial turf that covers the floor at the new store, as well as the live turf used at various events at the original location.

The 11th Gumball 3000 rally is starting next month and for the occasion one of their sponsors, Puma, has produced the Speed Cat 2.9 Mid Gumball driving shoe. The sneaker comes in a black/silver colorway with the Gumball logo appearing on the tongue and the rally route printed on the in-sole. The outer sole was inspired by racing tires. The rally route includes several visits of Puma flagship stores, on which occasion they will also release a special t-shirt.

Greedy Genius is about to introduce a new model in to their collection - the Ocean Runner. This model features a classic boat shoe re-invented into a high top sneaker with classic nautical styling. The Ocean Runner features a tonal nubuck upper, external side lacing details and nylon pipped edges. Without a doubt we can say that this is the nicest Greedy Genius silhouette to date - premium materials, attention to detail, without over-designing the shoe.
