The new “Aston Martin Drive me Home Interiors” furniture collection, with its striking form, is distinguished as an integrated proposal for home, office and contract, complete with accessories and lighting. Making its world premiere at the Grand Starhotels Rosa in Milan, the Aston Martin Interiors line is manufactured and distributed exclusively by Formitalia Luxury Group spa. The collection, made in Italy, represents a blend of advanced industrial technologies and the use of valuable hides. Designed by Mirko Monti Tattarini for the company, the Aston Martin Chaise Longue (pictured above) enjoys monocoque bodywork made of carbon fiber with bright aluminum applications.
The padding of the Aston Martin chaise lounge is made of polyurethane foam with the stored form and covered with leather or with boiled wool. With its clean and captivating lines, the Aston Martin Chaise Longue is available in a range of colors. Another piece is the Aston Martin Sofa (pictured below) designed by Emanuele Canova. The minimalist sofa with a futuristic design draws inspiration from the forms and the curves as noticeable with the cars made by the English automotive company.
The inside frame is made of steel and wood, and the lining is made of natural leather with a padding made of fibers. The external structure of the Aston Martin Sofa can be made of aluminum with a satin finish or of carbon with a black finish. The new collection has been previewed during the design week, to coincide with the Salone del Mobile in Milan.
