Yep, another Porsche post. Porsche Introduces Exclusive 911 Sport Classic

Just ahead of the Frankfurt Autoshow, Porsche drops a dime on their latest creation, the 911 Sport Classic. With only 250 iterations slated for production, the Sport Classic certainly is a rare breed. Taking cues from the Carrera S, the 911 Sport Classic is powered by a 3.8-liter six cranking out 408 ponies, 23 more than cousin Carrera. This is mainly thanks to a modified intake manifold which boasts “six vacuum-controlled switching flaps.” The Sport Classic boogies from 0-62 mph in 4.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 187 mph.

The retro 911 comes with all the goodies you would expect from Porsche including ceramic composite brakes, a PASM sport tuned suspension (which lowers the ride height 20mm), a mechanical rear axle differential and custom 19-inch wheels with high performance tires. The SC speaks loudly to classic Porsche fans with its retro styling Sport Classic Grey paint scheme, double dome roof, 44mm wider rear end, a “Sport Design” front splitter, clear lens taillights and large ducktail rear spoiler paying homage to the classic 1973 Carrera RS 2.7. Inside, you will notice the brown woven leather sport seats, “Espresso Nature” leather christened dashboard, a beautiful Alcantara roof lining and eye popping detail on six-speed only shifter and handbrake.

You can pick up your 911 Sport Classic starting in January 2010 for $241k. Who said exclusivity was cheap!?! With only 250 being made I would suggest go to your nearest Porsche dealership starting NOWISH! Source
