Nicolas Cage blew it himself with over-the-top luxury buys, including nine Rolls-Royces

Celebrities are known for living a decadent lifestyle. But then there are the corrosive effects of a decadent lifestyle which leads to a financial crisis, and the same has happened with Oscar winner actor Nicolas Cage, who is in complete financial distress for excessive spending. A lawsuit claims the actor splurged on nine Rolls-Royce cars and three mansions in a £25million spending spree. Oscar-winner Cage, 45, splashed out more than £1.2million on the motors and £20million on the pads. The epic spending spree in 2007 started after the £15million-a-movie actor had box office hits with National Treasure 2 and Ghost Rider. Besides the above, his expenditures also included a 67-million-year-old dinosaur skull for $276,000, 15 homes around the world, three castles, a Gulfstream jet, four yachts and an island worth £4.5m in the Bahamas. The actor’s ex-business manager Samuel Levin, who Cage alleges made some really bad investment choices for Nicolas, has taken a hit back at Cage with these expenditure revelations.
