Wow, this full sized replica of the Batmobile looks amazing! It was bulit by someone from Sweden, made from a 1973 Lincoln Continental, took over $1 million US dollars and 3.5 years, 20,000 working hours to complete.

Jay Leno's EcoJet is a jet inside a car's skin - BOSS!

For all those who believe Jay leno’s fleet of cars is responsible for global warming, EcoJet has come out as a jab. Television host, comedian, and well-known car enthusiast, Jay Leno’s biodiesel-powered EcoJet has recently claimed its fame with its ability to run on biodiesel and at the same time putting out an impressive 750 horsepower and 700 ft-lb of torque at 48,000 RPM from its Honeywell LT101 jet turbine engine. Covered in carbon fiber is an aluminum chassis kept in contact with the ground using existing suspension bits from the Chevrolet Corvette along with a four-speed automatic transmission from General Motors that minimizes engine speed down to 6,000 rpm. Adding to the luxury is its special carbon fiber brake discs from Brembo paired up with aluminum six-piston calipers and something new to the luxury is the Microsoft built dash, including a full Windows Vista-powered computer, of course, fully connected to the internet.

The Wrath concept has us thinking, which is something quite unusual for us to do. Will the present be considered “retro” in the future? Or will retro remain retro and present be something else? Whatever the case, this “future modern retro” chopper for the year 2083 will rule streets in an age when everything is completely controlled by computers and electronics, which should be entirely possible considering the current rate of global development.

The one downside to a lot of hybrids is that they’re not, well…tunable. Obviously extracting more horsepower from a low or zero-emissions vehicle would hurt driveability and completely negate the high miles-per-gallon that hybrids or electric cars stand by. Japanese tuner Exclusive Zeus (the name alone is cool enough) has taken a step in the right direction, debuting their custom body kit for the Honda Insight this week. As part of the company’s so-called GMLRS Line, the kit boasts front and rear spoilers, a stealthy grille, and aluminum side skirts. Be the first one on your block without a weird looking hybrid!

Bugatti calls it quits with it's last MONSTER - Sang Bleu.

The end all, be all of special edition Bugatti Veyrons’ is set to take its final bow. The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Sang Bleu, unveiled at last weekend’s Peddle Beach Concours d’Elegance, will be the very last special edition Veyron produced by the supercar automaker. In talking numbers, Bugatti claims it has 250 out of 300 Veyrons tagged for production presently built and sold, the supercar automaker will be moving onto its next project currently named Bordeaux. The Bordeaux will most likely use a tuned version of the current 16.4 liter 1001 bhp Quad-Turbo W16 motor from the Veyron. Reason being…. VW spent a significant amount of change in R&D and production, that it wouldn’t be economical to develop an entirely new power plant. Let’s be honest, I don’t think Bugatti will disappoint with the next trick they have up their sleeve. But unless you have $2 million to spend on a car….. it probably won’t keep you up at night. Jaguar Mark XXI Concept – Bionomic Autonomous Limousine

As conceptualized by British design student Christopher Pollard, the future of automobiles–and in this case the Jaguar Mark XXI Limousine–is in streamlined, swooping, incandescence. And, more importantly, that the design’s excitement is strongly influenced by it’s engineering–that the design of the vehicle is literally what powers it. For the Mark XXI is solar-powered, with leaf-like panels that follow the movement of the sun. These same panels are lit at night. Beyond the uniqueness of design and forward-thinking technologies, Pollard’s demonstration of conceptual phases is particularly intriguing.

Mansory Vincero Bugatti Veyron: $1 Million Extra For A Whole Lotta Carbon Fiber - OMG

German Tuning company, Mansory, has taken an already ridiculously rare/expensive car…and nearly doubled up the price in aftermarket add-ons. The special edition Veyron, named the Vincero includes a new aerodynamic trim package, new wheels, LED lighting, and extra 108 horsepower, and just about everything is carbon fiber.

Mansory only built three of the special edition Veyron’s (there were only 200 total Veyron’s made between 2005-2008, and only 300 will be built total), and it will set you back a massive $985,000…on top of the price of the stock stock car (which is about $1.5 million).

Chrome finished Audi R8 screams bankrupt!

If you posses a scorcher like the Audi R8, there isn’t much you should tamper with. But sometimes, the loaded geeks can tend to think otherwise, albeit I love the chrome finishing on a car’s exterior, but in this case it is a blunder. It does not add an ounce to the desirability quotient either and the only thing that goes up is the overall cash spent on this car. Thank God the great brains spared the side-blades. Definitely not chic by our standards, but expensive, yes!

Gemballa Mirage GT in flat black - DOPE!

This is the latest Mirage GT to come out of Porsche tuner, Gemballa’s garage. The Carrera GT may well have ceased production on May 6, 2006 but Gemballa are still finding enough interest in their Mirage kits to create a new one every now and again.

This Mirage GT has 650bhp and is capable of 0-100kph (62mph) in 3.7 seconds, 0.2 seconds faster than the standard car. 0-200 kph is also dealt with in 0.2 seconds less, 9.7 seconds in total. It tops out at 335 kph (208mph).

The exterior looks stunning as always with Mirage GT’s. The mix of matte black paintwork and silver accents really make the car stand out. As with most tuners, Gemballa have added a garish ‘one-off’ theme to the car. A mixture of black material, blue alcantara and a space age-looking silver material.
