The brainchild of Rick Tomicic and Clive Tregaskiss, Tough Customs Precision Cycles was formed with the desire to build the perfect motorcycle. Prior to opening Tough Customs, Rick Tomicic spent over 20 years developing his reputation as an industry leader building engines and complete motorcycles on the world superbike circuits for everyone from Honda to Yamaha. In the racing industry, perfection and precision are not only requested, but required in order to meet the high performance and reliability demands of competitive motorsports. At Tough Customs, this same level of precision and commitment to quality is brought into every custom motorcycle we build.
Beginning with the customer’s selection of style and power, each motorcycle is custom engineered to superbike levels of technology using only the best-of-the-best of components from around the world. With nearly 700 hours spent on each hand-crafted motorcycle, every component is designed with extreme tolerances to meet our absolute commitment to quality. However, we at Tough Customs do not stop at creating a showstopper; the bike must also be able to outperform anything on the street. As such, each motorcycle we build spends a full two weeks on the engine dynamometer to ensure that it is tuned to optimum performance. This allows us to guarantee that all components are performing properly and the customer to fully enjoy the bike upon delivery without concern of properly breaking it in.
